 In the Land of Fey there live both Dark and Light Fairies. 

Even though they are constantly in battle with each other, they need each other to keep both Fey and Mortal Earth in balance. Thirteen year old Katie McCory finds out how important and dangerous this task is in my middle grade adventure "Katie McCory & The Dagger of Truth." to be released this summer.

Dragon Magic

 

Draco: The Moon Dragon 

Draco sits upon the moon as twilight takes the night.

Purple wings spread wide and strong opening to flight.

Bright stars beckon him to soar,

he rumbles out an ardent roar,

as wings dip towards the milky way, he’ll bath in it this night.

Teal and purple streaks of light, dash across the sky.

Draco soars to the earth as stars go flashing by.

Scales dyed iridescent blue

with the milky way's white hue.

As he shakes his body dry opals drop down from the sky.

C. L. Collar is an award winning author. She will have two new books published this year.  The McCory Chronicles: Katie McCory and the Dagger of Truth (Middle Grade Adventure, Summer 2013) and Finding Fey: A Book of Fairy Tales. Just this year, Collar walked away with three awards at the Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc. contest.

C. L.  Collar is a down to earth country girl who has lived most of her life in small town America. She has a passion for laughter and a strong love of God and family. C. L. was introduced into the world of magic and poetry by her mother at a very young age through the book Silver Pennies, and fell in love with fanciful writing. She presently lives in Darrouzett, Texas with her husband and a very extensive furry family.

Dream what you want to dream.

Dream what you want to do.

Hope that your dreams will all come true.

For the whole world is made up of dreams,

And hope is the stitch that seams

Dreams into reality for you.

Dreams form in the soul and from your heart they flow

Into and everlasting running stream.

There they merge into other dreams

And make a better world this means

The whole world is dependent upon dreams.

Dreams will make you strong, when things seem to go wrong,

They’ll pick you up and carry you away.

So when you’re in despair,

And feel like no one cares,

Your dreams will help you make it through the day.

Dreams that are let go have no heart and so

They slowly and sadly drift away.

So hold on to yours tight,

Grasp it with all your might,

And your dreams will come true for you someday.

If you dream what you want to dream,

Dream what you want to do.
